Irvin L. (Jack) White, PhD.

Now retired, Irvin L. (Jack) White, Ph.D. spent 30 + years engaged in energy at both the state and national levels. His energy focused professional career has included serving as the Bureau of Land Management’s Assistant Director for Energy and Minerals, President of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), the Senior Director of Energy Programs at the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and co-founder of the Association of State Energy Technology Transfer Institutions (ASERTTI). After retiring from the Battelle Memorial Institute, the contract operator of PNNL, he co-founded UTECH, a management consulting firm later renamed The Winslow Group. Among others his clients included departments of several national laboratories. He also represented ASERTTI in Washington. With his last retirement, he was given the ASERTTI title of Executive Director Emeritus.
